Not to rag on your project,It looks cool ,but I would get some of those American racing or Bart wheels to really set it off and those Goodyears with the yellow letters.Cool project though!

thx you all,

i've tried looking for those wheels, but nobody seems to "do" the 5 x 4,25 bolt circle, at least from what i've found out..

so i took these Volvo steel rims and had them widend (1" ,giving me a total off 7,5")

i'll send some more pics when it's done!!!

Ford really screwed up when they decided on the wheel bolt pattern for the Birds. They used the 5x4.25 pattern, that is used mostly on front wheel drive cars. I have a very nice set of custom 17x9 Cobra R replicas. For next year when I get a little more serious at racing, I guess I will have to do a 5x4.5 swap to get decent 15x10 and 15x5 wheels for drag tires.

Running 255/45/17 on the front, and 285/40/17 on the rears for street crusing now.
