Found a late 60s 'bird with a 429. What can I expect with this engine? Good performers? I know it won't have the hardened valves seats for the unleaded gas, but don't know much about the 429s in general.
The car is shot but I'm thinking of keeping the engine and the auto tranny for rebuilds and use in a hotrod. I've got a '28 Model A 2 door sedan I'm going to build into a hotrod. Thought this big engine would be a good starting point.

360 HP and tons of torque. Almost bullet proof. Good strong piece.
