I haven`t seen in in quite a few years, but there was a pale yellow 57 T bird here in BC with the "birdsnest", which, like Alex said, is a rumble seat, that fit thru the trunk lid. I don`t know if they were a factory, or dealer option, or if was an aftermarket conversion, but it did look quite well finished. I`m sure I have a pic of it somewhere, but I`m not too good with posting pictures.------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed 10.20@130mph 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA Stocker under construction, 302 5 speed 59 Meteor (Canadian Ford) 2 dr sedan 332, auto 74 F350 ramp truck 390 4spd

That looks like a dual quad 312 also in the pic. With the strange top to the air cleaner, those must be the 4 barrels with the float bowls on top of the carbs. I had a motor out of a 56 in my 57 convert. and it had one of those carbs on it. Made hood clearance with an air cleaner a real problem. ------------------ 63 Falcon 377 Cleveland stroker Flying Toilet alchohol injection. 6.19 @ 110 MPH 1/8 mile 2002 Ranger FX4 daily driver 2000 F350 PSD Crew cab dually - Like commuting in a B52!! 98 US Cargo Phantom II 28'
