I haven`t seen in in quite a few years, but there was a pale yellow 57 T bird here in BC with the "birdsnest", which, like Alex said, is a rumble seat, that fit thru the trunk lid. I don`t know if they were a factory, or dealer option, or if was an aftermarket conversion, but it did look quite well finished. I`m sure I have a pic of it somewhere, but I`m not too good with posting pictures.

That looks like a dual quad 312 also in the pic.

With the strange top to the air cleaner, those must be the 4 barrels with the float bowls on top of the carbs. I had a motor out of a 56 in my 57 convert. and it had one of those carbs on it. Made hood clearance with an air cleaner a real problem.
