Thats pretty cool & different! The only concerns I`d have is these cars are pretty tight under the hood, due to their shock towers. Kinda big car for a SB engine, I don`t think anybody makes a header for these cars with the FE, & a 429-460 would be even tighter! The thought of a tubbed car with stock exhaust manifolds would make me gag.

Only two versions of the 390 were available in the 62 T-Bird.
300HP 4V and the 340 HP "M" code tri-power 390.
