Hi All, I was wondering what the going rate is on them,There's one near my house and I wanted to make an offer on it.It's a 4 door (suicide door) 429 C.I. Auto, the interior appears to be in pretty good shape, there's not much rust on it,just some surface and some peforation on the lower corners of the rear doors. It seems to run fine and shows 107 k miles on the odometer. It's far from perfect but I thought it would be a cool cruiser.I want to make an offer without insulting the owner any and all reples will be greatly appreciated,Thanks.

I paid $750 for my 69 4door 12 years ago, same kind of condition. I haven't decided if I'm gonna get it drivable again or get one of those cobra replicas and stuff the 429 in it.

Make sure you check the frame rails where they "kick up" over the rear axle for rust. These cars are notorious for frame rot, at least up here.

Thanks for the replies guys. The frame looks ok on it.I got it for a good price.Unfortunately I also got laid off (worked there 5 1/2 years, bad economy)So it looks like it will have to go,I'll still have other toys, but since it's the most recent,it's first on the list.By the way I haven't gotten it started yet? The motor spins when I turn it with a wrench.I pulled the starter and took it apart,it was shot.I replaced that and new starter wires, all contacts are clean and the battery is fully charged. When I try it nothing?Any clues would be greatly appreciated,Thanks.
