I made a factory 5.0 alternator bracket work for my setup. Standard rotation water pump with a ribbed water pump pulley and factory 5.0 crank pulley. I'll try and take some pictures tomorrow.

I used a pump from a 79 fairmont 302. The water pump pulley I got from a mid 80s 4 cylinder ranger w/o a/c. I have seen them on eBay and in other 4 banger cars without a/c. I was able to successfully flip the bracket upside down due to the bottom two accessory bolts on the cylinder heads being the same spacing apart. I did have to grind the flange a bit on the left over bolt hole to get it to not hit the valve cover. I obviously had to lengthen the wires for the alternator since it started out on the passengers side. Not a big deal there. You could definately make the setup prettier by cutting off and smoothing out the smog pump bracket. Yes I know the flex fan is killer, lol. Car picks up 4mph with the belt off.
