I bought a used 347 stroker and bored it another 10 over. What cubic inch does that actually come out to? I have heard anything from 350 to 353. Thanks

If you owned a 347 then its based on a 3.4 inch stroke and a 4.030 bore.this is how it calculates 2.015^2 x pi x 3.4 x 8 = 346.95 cubic inches When you bore it another 0.010 inches you get: 2.020^2 x pi x 3.4 x 8 = 348.67 cubic inches. In terms of cubic inches you probably wont notice anything, but if your engine is badly worn enough to need it, you might notice the improvement in compression.

Thanks for the reply. The person who previously owned the motor put the head gaskets on backwards and got the motor real hot. He sold the complete motor to me for $575. At that price I figured that I could not go wrong. With a junk 600 cfm carb it is putting 325 horse to the ground through a c4 trans.
