Looks like they were using a hydrogen peroxide propellant system, like the rocketbelt of days gone by. Sounds like it tooI'd like to be wearing a bit more protective gear at that speed, but it probably wouldn't do much good anyway

Yea....that's the NHSA (National Hot Schwinn Association). I'd definitely need a diaper for that ride!I coulda gotten to school Really Fast with that thing! Only thing is those silly rubber bike brake shoes melted the first time he tried to slow down. ------------------

All I can vision is the front tire blowing a tube and all of a sudden this guy is no longer riding, he's now skating at a buck fiddy.That's just plain scary. ------------------

I like that puff of smoke behind him right as it kicks in and he speeds off. Reminds me of a roadrunner cartoon.As for Rocket bikes, if God had meant for man to have them, he would've had Orville & Wilbur invent them 100 years ago.
