Alex, Can you confirm this is a 50 before I go tearing the trans and flywheel back out of this car?

I can't confirm it but a 28oz off a 351W sounds more logical for that number.

According to my parts catolog. It crosses over to part number E4TZ-6316-A which is a 50oz 302 balancer. A 351 is part number E4TZ-6316-B

Thanks Ray.

I would trust Ray's FoMoCo parts book before I would trust my Pioneer OEM balancer interchange.
It has been wrong many times before not only on Fords.

[/B][/QUOTE]Thanks Ray and Alex I am trying to figure out a vibration in a 347 we just installed in junior's 88 Previous owner contacted machinist but he does not have record of what weight balancer was used. It is a forged crank with "I" beam rods verses "H" beam I guess he was trying to save some weight, I have a CAT 28oz manual flywheel in it now as he told me it was 28 balance. Does anyone know if 50oz bolt on weights are available for CAT flywheels? This on has a bolt on 28 OZ that I could change out thru the starter hole. THANKS AGAIN
