Hey guys. I wanted to get some opinions on some clutch set ups for a 4-speed top-loader. (You can see my car set up on my signature.) I'm currently running a Hayes Street/Strip clutch right now but was pondering a change. Reason being is that I have a lot of stuff in the works and plan on spraying a 175 Shot (for the first time) next time I go out. I'm not sure if the Hayes will hold like I will need it to. Thanks!-Eric ------------------ http://ericcasas.mustangsandmore.ws

Ram makes some good stuff too. Definately use a long style pressure plate and a kevlar or metallic disc.Keep the static pressure as low as possible.(easier on your left leg)No matter which clutch manufacturer you chose I'd call them and ask their opinion also.A V-Gate type shifter would be a good idea too.

I like Mcleod I had them drill my flywheel and use a C#$@y Truck diaphragm style clutch, Been using the same clutch for 13 years now and have only used up two discs.
