I finally found a supplier of straight lengths of black rubber radiator hose with nylon fiber woven in, and plan on forming my own repros for the Stangs. I thought the supplier would be able to tell me how to do this, but no such luck! Can someone help? The only suggestion I have so far is somehow holding the form using vises or whatever, then filling it with sand and heating it with a blow torch while dousing it in water! That sounds a little weird to my mind! Thanks as always, Simon[This message has been edited by Fastback68 (edited 01-23-2006).]

Please note this stuff down next time, Tom The one that got me started on this is the lower hose on a 71-3 V8 with power steering. That's a contorted little bugger. If I could buy a Japanese truck hose and cut it ...[This message has been edited by Fastback68 (edited 01-28-2006).]

I always thought molded hoses were made bent - not bent after being made. I dont think rubber can be remolded after cooling from the initial manufacturing process.Nice try, though. Tracy
