Will 15x8" and 15x5" wheels on a 4-1/2" backspacing fit the front and back of my 88' GT hatchback? A guy a my work has a set of weld draglites fitted with 26x10.5" ET Steets (rear) and 15x5" (front) for $600. Is this a good deal and will they fit?
Thanks.

believe the standard in the late model crowd for a 15X8 is 5.5 inch backspace. 4.5 will work but the trie will be farther out in the wheel well check the fender lip clearance.

I was told the rears will fit yesterday but wasn't sure the 4.5" backspacing on the front will fit.

Based on a similar post in a fox forum I visit I believe you will want 5.5 back spacing, not 4.5.

Definately want that 1 more inch of backspacing. Wheels sticking out look horrible on fox mustangs.

On my 85 Mustang, I have the 5.5" back spacing 15x8" Weld Draglites, they fit nicely, although you may need to take a hammer to the inside wheelwell area if you use tires with a considerable sidewall buldge.
