I just got a new adjustable fuel pressure regulator for my 88' and i need some baseline #'s for fuel pressure. I have GT-40X heads, trick-flow track heat intake, and 24lb injectors. Any help is much appreciated... Tj *edited for spelling*[This message has been edited by FiveOFastback (edited 11-14-2005).]

Start off at 42 lbs and see how it acts. You might need to hit 45, but then again, you might need to stay at 32. It all depends on how well the fuel spray is atomizing, or what percentage of the duty cycle of the injector is being realized.

We got our best dyno numbers at about 38 on our 89. But your set up may be a little different depending on the cam and t/b you have.

You are better off having it too rich to start off. Cheaper to load up a set of plugs than burn a piston.

Yes, definatly better to be on the fat side. Well next friday my father, my friend and I are all pulling the motor out of the 88' and putting in the new. Hopefully everything will go well and it will be running saturday afternoon? maybe? Injection is great but a real PITA when swapping motors... Tj
