Hey guy;s and gals, this is my first post, so here goes I am near completing my mustang which is a 85 mustang, The motor is a 347 with 11-1 srp pistons, severaly worked protop line heads 200cc runners, all msd , comp soild roller cam .619 lift 292 durction,4340 eagale crank and h-beam rods the car has a tko600 tranny with a 8.8 rear and 4.30 gears , the front suspention is all tubular stuff with coil overs, i have nearly $10,000 in the car i built this to win a 100.00 bet against my cousins chevy vega at this time he has ran a best of 11.90 , what is your opion of the hp this motor will make and with good traction what e.t will it go(yes i can drive a stick)

i have no idea, it still has a full interior,the interior is just way to nice to take out, it is a street car that i will drive to and from the track i would say it weights problay 3300, i may be brave and gut it

My guess is that you should have no problem with the Vega. My 3000 lb 65 coupe with a 347, alot less cam, alot less heads, alot less rear gear, and a single 750 DP on a Victor Jr, a wimpy T-5Z, and little 26x10.50 ET streets will run 11.90's.

i hope so, i think i will get some cal-tracks and do a rear coil over also
