Jay302 Journeyman Posts: 36 From: Louisville,ohio Registered: Dec 2004	posted 08-19-2005 10:36 PM i have a 85 f-150 with a 302. the current exaust is just 2 catalytic convertors ( it rotted off right after the 2nd cat and it is very quiet so i just left the mufflers and tailpipe off and just turned the exaust down from the cat) when i mash the gas it spits and sputters then dies. at the end of the pipe there is a ton of heat but dont really feel any air coming out.i dont have a vacum gauge or i would check it that way. just want to have suspition before cutting the exaust up Thanx ------------------ 77 triumph tr-7 with a ford 302,c-4,and soon to have a 9"rear end [This message has been edited by Jay302 (edited 08-19-2005).] IP: Logged
