dubz, i run them with a regular duraspark II cap. they plug right in. alex did have a heck of a deal on them. you might want to check with him before you order. good luck------------------ mike r racing is real everything else is just a game. 81 capri-302-7.25 @93mph 1/8 1.54 60ft 50 % of the fun dragracing is meeting people who will give you the shirt off their back to wipe the grease off your hands. They use a female end on the cap side. Also check the timing and floats. What kind of ignition are you using now?------------------ oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe 351w C4 Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. My Pics

Stock duraspark, coil, and distributor with vac advance plugged.Floats i got all set last week after fixing the sight plug problem. I think i may need to get a re-curve kit for the distributor as it seems to want more advance at idle, and that would put it above 40 when it's all in.

You need to pull the dist and check to see what weights you have.http://www.reincarnation-automotive.com/Duraspark_distributor_recurve_instructions_index.html ------------------ oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe 351w C4 Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc. whilst removing the vacuum canister one of the screws holding it in snapped off inside, drilled it out, so not i'll have to figure something to hold it in place again.anyway, got the rest of it apart and found a 16L and a 21L which would be 32 degrees advance and 42degrees advance!! currently on the 21L, so i'll swap that to the 16. The one spring is red and is pretty slack, the other is yellow and doesn't even make contact to start adding tension until about half of the advance slot. Use the 16L and the weakest spring. Remember the 16=32 plus what ever you use at idle. Tap the hole alittle large and put a new screw in it. Once you get the dist back in the car. You can bend the little tap that hold the spring to get the timing in faster. It took me one whole day to get it right. ------------------ oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs65 coupe 351w C4 Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc.
