That's a '71 302 Mexican block.

thanks Steve,so is that a stronger block than a regular 302? its the motor that I'm putting in my racecar.

oh and is there any way to tell what Car it came out of...It was in a MustangII Parts Car that I bought 11yrs. ago.

I heard the majority of them went into late 60's to mid 70's Ford Vans, The flat nosed ones.

They have the thicker main webs and saddles like the 289 HiPos did.
