whats the fastest way to strip off old paint on my 9'' housing it needs to be striped and then repainted with por-15, whats the best way to do this i dont have a sand blaster, thanks.

Or use aircraft paint remover with Toluene. Just be carefull or grey matter might come out your ears... I stripped paint off planes as a side job in H.S., no big deal. But nowadays..... who knows, but I do know the stuff you can buy today is weak in comparison. You can always use a wire wheel on a angle grinder. My wife tried that on the 9" rear under our Dart and it got away from her and she was chasing the grinder trying to catch it. I yelled get away from it and pulled the plug. SteveW

I have a local shot blaster, works great. Just got to make sure you remove all the shot material. It will remove anything. Jason.
