No bent push rods, but what effect can this have on the valves in the motor. I had one come off on me when I was 50 miles from home. Did not seem to hurt any thing but what effects can this do to the motor.

are they roller? adjustable? stud girdle would cure most of this.

Roller rockers. No stud girdle. Adjustable. Solid roller cam.

You have guide plates don't you? Do they they line the tip of the rocker over the center of the valve? You may need to modify the guide plates by cutting them in half and moving the slots then tack welding them back together to hold the position.

Could also be the studs were drilled and tapped crooked.
