Took the car to the track with the new stall convertor. I had 3/4 of a tank of gas in the car from last September. Did not have time to put fresh gas in the tank. I did put a bottle of octane booster in the tank. First time up to race the car it bogged when I punched it. Did not even stall up. It never did that with the old convertor. Next time up I held the brake and pushed the rpm a little more at the line and the stall worked and got my best 60ft for my car. 1.9 Vs 2.0. I am thinking the old gas is part of the problem.

I was told if its in a sealed container, it will last a long time. But not sealed, like your gas tank (because of the vent line) it will drop in octane value. Im sure weather has an important role in it also.

Depending on your engine's needs:
You may be ok.
You may be ok after adding octane booster.
you may be ok after topping it off with fresh
gas.
or you may have to drain it and start fresh.

Sorry for such a broad answer, but only you know if your engines not running like it was before.
You may be able to get a better answer from a racing gas supplier.
good luck

Octane booster did more harm than good.
Quality racing fuels do not loose much even in a vented enviornment.
