There seems to be a few places to race over there, www.explosion.nl had a few pictures. I see you need to pre-enter the races at Drachten. Certainly different than most normal races here where you normally pay at the gate, it's usually just the big NHRA events where you need to pre-enter.

well, dragracing isn't well-knowed among the average "Joe" around here,.. lots of writing/talking about illegal streetracing and that it should be banned. almost no-one knows that there a official track for this (well, its an airstrip they use every now and then..).. with only 3 official events a year, its also hard to promote it.you indeed have to pre-enter, you pay 1 amount for the whole year, for which you can race 3 weekends.. but its starting to get there.. more and more other carshows/events are starting to organize 1/8 or 1/4 dragrace's. in different place's in the country, so more people get to see it.. also more and more cars are showing up. (im entering my first race on the 3 of july ) we just need more tracks or at least 1 permanent track where only racing takes place.... there are some serious cars racing here.. for example a fox with a 632ci... a Plymouth roadrunner with a 528 hemi.. and recently a topfeul dragster driven by Lex Joon.. ( http://www.lexjoonracing.nl ) besides, euro-racing is more popular, VW/Honda's/subaru's and such.. but everytime they get @ss-wiped by the american cars!!!
