Is anybody using an edelbrock rpm manifold and running a cam with an rpm range of 3000-7000rpm?

Is the manifold still effective past 6500rpms?

Big sacrifivce in mid range torque. Unless it is a stroker motor.

Yes,

It depends on how many cubes you're feeding. A 289/302 will be fine with the rpm to 7,000 But a 393/408 will want a Vic. Jr.

I run a solid cam w/250*@.050 and .550 lift and rev my 289 to 7K with an RPM. There seems to be no problem reving it that high but without trying a Victor there is no way to tell if it would run faster with the Victor.

I will say that with that cam and intake and a 3K stall, the car is very streetable. I can drive it 70 miles to the track and back with no issues.

Sounds like some dyno time is in order to figure out the gains or losses. If it is track only go VIC Street strip I think it would be a toss up.
