My Crane golds have a huge hole running to the roller tip for oiling and the rear squirter is designed to shoot low at the rocker nut, therefore the passage way to the roller tip is costantly flooded with oil. The harland sharp does not have the passage to the roller tip at all and the squirter shoots high. Even the crane energizer roller squirter shoots high, thus not directly at the roller tip. Could this be my intake valve over oiling problem?

Doubtful. HS has a giant roller tip and does not need as much lubrication.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First NHRA & IHRA 289 automatic Superstock Mustang in the TENS 06-99 First SS/MA in the TENS 04-03 IHRA division 5 Superstock Champion Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." The valve stem is getting flooded by the gold crane vs splash oil from any other. I will try the umbrella seal on intakes first

It's getting flooded alright (seems to me I have been saying that for about a week now), but it's not the fault of the rocker. Trying the umbrella is a good inexpesive idea.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First NHRA & IHRA 289 automatic Superstock Mustang in the TENS 06-99 First SS/MA in the TENS 04-03 IHRA division 5 Superstock Champion Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." In the quest to restrict oil to the valve stems it just seemed logical to use a roller rocker that did not have roller tip oiling priority. I will try the umbrella seals on intake only. Thanks Alex
