After putting the Funnelweb on and installing the port stuffers in the 4v heads, I now know I'm makin more power. The other changes I made over the winter included replacing the 830 Holley DP annular boosters with a 750 Holley HP DP, 4.86 gears and a Gear Vendors overdrive. I took it out for a short run today and from a dead stop, it pulls fine through first, second, and right when I get into 3rd gear, the front just nose dives as the engine runs out of fuel.

I know I'm a little short on the fuel department and I am going to need to upgrade that before I take it to the dyno and run it at the strip. As of right now, my fuel system consists of a Mr. Gasket fuel pump, its supposed to be rated at 80 GPH and I have 5/16" line from the pickup tube all the way to the mechanical pump and 3/8" from the pump to the carb.

I have a Holley Blue electric fuel pump that is good, but I was wondering if it was even worth putting it on? I've heard of a lot of people having problems with these units. And also, what size fuel line should I go with, 3/8" or 1/2"? I'm also going to have to drop my tank down and install a larger pickup inside the tank.

Let me know if you need more info about the combination, but I'm sure most of you are aware of it. Thanks for all the help.

I'd run the Holley Blue (mount it with those rubber isolated stud mounts)
fuel regulator, and 1/2" (#8)
