Whats the biggest baddest small block ford motor that can be built or bought today? I'm talking something that will put out 800hp N/A and then be able to take a 300 shot of juice. Is there such a thing that can be built and stay together? One of the guys in the car club is building a fox body to drag race only. He was going to do a 385 series and is now thinking he could do a small block with these kind of numbers. My understanding is to get that much hp n/a the compression has to be up there and what happens when you juice from there? Bud, all you have to do is look at Pro 5.0 class. (before it became Pro Stock) 408 inch R-351 block with serious heads and 1 4v will make over 850 on nuts. Bill Mitchell Hard Core is also offering 460 inch SBF deals now too which would romp pretty good. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First NHRA & IHRA 289 automatic Superstock Mustang in the TENS 06-99 First SS/MA in the TENS 04-03 IHRA division 5 Superstock Champion Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." $10K might get him a real good set of heads for a piece like that. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First NHRA & IHRA 289 automatic Superstock Mustang in the TENS 06-99 First SS/MA in the TENS 04-03 IHRA division 5 Superstock Champion Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
