I have a Powerforce street dampener on my new 331 that I just installed in my 68 Mustang. The outer surface has three sets of timing marks and none of them correspond with the timing pointer on the timing case cover. The engine runs great with the timing light indicating 40 degrees on one set of markings. " Very strange indeed " Any one here have any similar findings?

I would just find true TDC and put timing tape on the dampner so it lines up with whichever mark is easiest to read. That's the best way to make sure it's accurate anyway. B-loose
