Wheel studs ?The studs on the Wilwood set-up is shorter than the prevoious. The net length is Wilwood - 1 1/8" and the other studs are 2 1/2". The nuts are thru type and bolts came out some. The Wilwood studs will fit about 1 3/8" into the nuts. Is this sufficient?

Must be a street kit. Regardless, 1 and 3/8 of thread into the nut is good.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First NHRA & IHRA 289 automatic Superstock Mustang in the TENS 06-99 First SS/MA in the TENS 04-03 IHRA division 5 Superstock Champion Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Depends what rims you are running. The rule says the stud must protrude into the hex portion of the nut. Many types of race wheels don't need long studs.

Must protrude 1/2 the diameter of the thread. IE: 1/4 inch. Won a bet with tech "hot shot" over that one years ago. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First NHRA & IHRA 289 automatic Superstock Mustang in the TENS 06-99 First SS/MA in the TENS 04-03 IHRA division 5 Superstock Champion Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
