Hello All, trying to purchase a new set of clutch plates for a rebuild and was wondering which might be better from Summit Ford Motorsports or Ratech?

Try your local FoMoCo dealer.

Thanks Alex, forgive my ignorance, but is there a difference between the one that summit offers from Ford Motorsports vs. a local dealer? I hate to say it, but the local guys are usually high on the price.

I would call Summit's 24-7 tech line and ask if they are US made.
If so, chances are that they are the same as Ford would supply.

You might also want to give National Drivetrain in Atlanta a call.

Well I took your advice and called Summit the guy was nice but could not answer where the Motorsports one's were made but he did give me Motorsports number and after a long wait found out that they were US made.

The TL is for my 9 in. and I am installing a 3.89 third member that a fellow member sold me to help get rid of some noisy gears I have. Should work well with my AOD.
