I would appreciate a little advice. I am building an early 302 to go in an altered dragster. My problem is I need an oil pan that has provision for a dipstick because I have replaced the timing cover with an Enderle item to accept the cam driven fuel pump for the alcohol injection. I cannot afford a full on drag racing pan right now so am looking for a fairly cheap near enough stock item for now just to get the engine running and the fuel set up and then at a later date i will be able to afford a drag racing pan. Can anybody give me some advice on a cheapish pan with dipstick provision.Cheers Guys www.northernqtrracing.com

You can also use a Econoline van pan off an early van with a 302. it may be less expensive than a Bronco pan, if you can find one. This is assuming that you have room for a different oil pan. Also, you will need the pickup tube because it is a rear sump

You can get a threaded bung and a universal dipstick that you could use in your present oil pan from Canton. www.cantonracingproducts.com When you're ready for your racing pan, they can set you up with whatever you need, even build you a custom unit....
