I have head rumors that the Johnson Tappet company has been bought out and may start production up again. Does this mean that Crower will have the high rev hydraulic roller lifters again?

Are the Comp Hyd roller lifters any better than the OEM or Ford motorsports ones?

I have noticed that Schubeck is making (or modifying) 5.0 lifters. They are cheaper than the Crane drop in units also. Ales, are any of your buddies running the Schibeck hyd rollers?

You must not have read Race Pages in the late 90's. We helped develope the Schubeck modified hydraulic roller lifter and were the first ones to test them on Tony's car in 1999. They work very well and we still have them. Schubeck produces a very high quality product. Back then he was still trying very hard to get his flat tappet program launched and that got the majority of his time and resources. We got hooked up with Sherman in 2001 as they are S/SS class racers and to be frank, offered us far better service. The only physical difference I can see between the two is the amount of depression on the push rod seat. Sherman will modify your good existing new or used lifters also.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS! Does Sherman racing have a website? The old site that was on AOL is down apparently.
