Well, I'm hoping for between 375 - 400 hp, and around 350 lbs of torque. Its a 80/20 street/strip car, so if it makes those numbers over a pretty wide band, I'd be happy. I'll hopefully post numbers this week.

What is the style number of the wilson spacer you bought. I'm interested in one for my 351W and I'm curious to know how it works for you. Good luck!

The Wilson spacer is #004110, a four hole tapered combo spacer. I hope to have enough dyno time to run it with and without.

Congrats - Nice numbers. And who said you can't make that much power with E-brock RPM heads.

Your going to have fun with that engine! My 331 is close to those numbers and in a 3000 lb car it's a bunch of fun. Is a manual or auto going behind it? Rear gears? Was this with or without the Wilson spacer? Did you dyno it with and without the spacer? I just put a 1" spacer on my 331 so i'm curious. The 331 is in the 390 HP and 390 ft/lbs torque range at the flywheel based on the last chassis dyno and the 20% drivetrain loss rule (C4 auto and 9" posi rear). I never had it flywheel dyno'd, but the last chassis dyno was 313 RWHP @ 6300. Torque is probably going to end up right around 310-315 ft/lbs also, but the carb had a problem with the secondaries not opening fully so they had to manually open them. It was after were the peak torque occurs (3700 rpm based on previous run with old carb) so I won't know the final HP and Torque numbers until I get the carb fixed and back to the chassis dyno. 331s love to rev...have fun! ------------------ Tracy Blackford. These numbers are without the Wilson spacer. They had done a pull with the Wilson, said it added about 7 hp, but they put the 4 hole phonelic spacer back on. I got there for the last 3 pulls. He gave me the disks with the dyno data, I have to install the software on my PC, forgot that my PC doesn't have a floppy. Will burn the disks to CD, and then install, so I can see all the runs. The car is a 65 fastback, 2900 pounds. Has a C4, should stall around 2500-2700. Its got 3.55's in it. I have a 8" Currie TSD limited slip, that started doing the 1 wheel peel last year with my 289. So I need to do something with the rear. Any ideas? I'm looking at a Traction-lock, a locker or one of the new Tru-tracs. Currie says that they are coming for an 8" in a couple of months. Any suggestions? (I am leaving the ratio alone)

Will my 8 inch hold up? Also, where is the best place to get a carrier? Lastly, how will the locker be on the street?
