I'm in need of a new distributor for my 460 so I was gonna take the Mallory Comp 9000 out of my 351c and put it in there. So, I was looking at MSD distributors and they only show how to hook up the two wires into their boxes. I am running a Jacobs Pro Street Ignition and was curious as to what those two wires should hook to? Thanks------------------ 1982 Ford F100 2wd Shortbox. I believe you'd have to dump your jacobs and go with a MSD 6 series box and the wire kit that connects the two. A great upgrade.Call to make sure. MSD tech line (915)855-7123

The two wires coming out of the MSD dizzy's are for teh magnetic trigger. I believe that the Jacobs has the capability to trigger of this type of signal. FYI: http://www.msdignition.com/1download.htm [This message has been edited by Hemikiller (edited 03-22-2005).]

Correct. The MSD distributor can be triggered by almost any aftermarket ignition box. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS!
