I have an old pair of Blackjack aluminum coated AK500 headers for a 289-302 in a 65-70 Mustang and had a fitment question. Does anyone know if these will fit with a manual transmission? I cant remember since I bought these back in 85 and Blackjack is no longer around.------------------ Ed S. 68 S-code FB GT 4spd(now C6)/3.25 PS PDB 68 J-code(now 289) Cp Sprint"B" C4/3L00-9" PDB PS AC Bla-Bla-Bla 99 F150 XLT Ext/cab, 4X4, 5.4L, 3L55

I had to trim the end of my clutch fork and dent a tube or two to install them on my car years ago.------------------ Mike Burch 66 mustang real street 302 4-speed 289 heads 10.63 @ 129.3 http://www.geocities.com/carbedstangs/cmml_mburch.html http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/healey/367 http://www.mustangworks.com/cgi-bin/moi-display.cgi?220

I have installed a ton of them. That is the old Appliance brand. 65-66 is decent as Mike says, 67-70 is a piece of cake.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS! I had them on a 67 with a 351W and an FMX and the only problem I had was the colector flange hit the trans pan. They still look great and I din't have to use a PS drop with the 351 either. Thanks! ------------------ Ed S. 68 S-code FB GT 4spd(now C6)/3.25 PS PDB 68 J-code(now 289) Cp Sprint"B" C4/3L00-9" PDB PS AC Bla-Bla-Bla 99 F150 XLT Ext/cab, 4X4, 5.4L, 3L55
