After a week of finishing up all the loose ends, the Falcon runs!! I must say that the 351 W hits a mean lick also. I had to install and fab up all the little bits and pieces that are required when you start from scratch installing an engine and tranny. The B&M tranny cooler was pulled from my parts room after serving a previous life on a '36 Ford street rod. It was bolted to the front bumper as it was the coolest place to put it. In true Lo Buck fashion, the original radiator was called in to duty after a thourough cleaning. An aluminum radiator would have been what most people would have used, but that would defeat the whole purpose behind this car, which is to use what I had laying around.Because of the cool running nature of Methanol, no cooling fan will be needed. The battery master cut off switch was installed in the right rear tail light in place of the back up light. I fabbed a coil mount to hold the MSD HVC coil, I also had to build a torque strut as the motor was jumping around quite a bit. I used weather pack connectors on all the MSD connections, and I Dzus mounted the box to the fenderwell to make removing and installing the box easier. The whole MSD box can be removed in less than 30 seconds. In this shot you can also see the NOS Jardine headers that I bought at a scrap metal yard along with a couple of hundred other sets of headers last summer for $5.00 a pair!! Real race cars have column shifters!! The stock shifter was left in place to shift the 'Glide. I am going to fab a reverse lock out that will clamp to the column and not allow the tranny to go past drive when it is engaged. The button on the right of the steering wheel is for the tranny brake, and the one on the left is for the line-lok.

Nice job. Glide blows though. Fair warning: The Ford engine will reject it. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS! I am impressed with all the work you have done to it and I hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of her too. It would like a C4 better but if a glide is what you had then I say use it! Very cool!I think I'd spring for a shifter though. But then again you only have one shift to hit. Can I drive it when you're done? SteveW
