im in the process of putting a new crane bronze dist gear on my roller cam engine. a reputable engine builder told me that i needed to put dynasour oil in it to break in the gear. i hate to waste the synthetic oil i have in it now. any comments?? i dont remember doing this with the one that has been in for 5 years!!!------------------ mike r racing is real everything else is just a game. 81 capri-302-7.25 @93mph 1/8 1.54 60 ft. http://community.prestage.com/Member+Pages/789.aspx M&M member #839

Got some left over cam lube? Use it! Smear it on the gear and go race man.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS! I know when I got the paperwork with my MSD dist., they wanted to make sure your engine had no more than 70 PSI (oil pressure)durring the break-in of the gear(with dino-juice). I don't know if that was only for cast iron gears, or what. JD
