Hi all, Still working on getting all my parts purchased to build my 351C into a 351C with some real grits too it.
So far I have obtained about 90% of what I need before I turn over the block , rods and crank to the machine shop.
I'm wondering...would a Carb Spacer provide any help? I intend to use a Holley 750 with Vacuum Secondaries on top of a 351C 4V Edelbrock Performer intake that is already purchased. This is not to spawn an open debate on intakes..but the Pro's and Cons on Carb Spacers themselves.
I have looked at various types..made of various materials and I'm toying with the idea of using one with a PCV port built into the side of it...as opposed to the PCV going to the Air Cleaner in a conventional set-up.
You ideas and opinions on this...and the thickness of the spacer is very welcome.
My 1968 Torino GT does have a vented hood for the hood scoope..and I'm using a 13" Open Element Ford Racing Air Cleaner...so I want to get that Air Cleaner as close to cooler open air as possible without the hood and air cleaner hitting one another.
