What does it mean when the vacuum gauge bounce's say 1-3 points.
Should the gauge always be steady with no bounce at all?

Also how to adjust or check the adjustment of my RPM heads and comp lifters & cam. What should I set them at ?
They do make some rocker noise. Which I've been told is normal for roller tip rockers. But maybe they need adjusting ?

what RPM are you trying to git it to idle at? The more radicle the cam{LUMPY IDLE} you MAY?WILL have to raise idle speed. It ain't gonna idle in gear with A/C on at 600RPM NOWAYJOSE Did You look down venturies while it's idleing to see if there is any gas dribling out any of the boosters? Do you know any shops around your area that do emission work and see if they have a 4 gas exhaust anilizer, if you can talk them into runnin prob up the tail pipe and see how "rich" it is runnin??
