Had a motor offered to me today. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is? Supposed to be a 428. Here are the #'s;
Back of the block...The large scribed "C"
Back of block flat area...G2363599 (hard to read)
Back of block...has the 3 screw in plugs.
Under oil filter...8F24, WI, V.
Side of block towards the front...13 DIF.
Front of block...has a 3 over a 352.
Any info greatly appreciated. It ran 2 years ago, been setting in a storage building unclaimed.

Its an FE,you will have to measure B&S to verify what it is.Aside from the fact that its a hyd lifter car engine not much else can be said.Pull the pan,CJs have different main bearing webbing and the con-rods are different.Crank # will help.CJs have a windage tray (can be seen from the outside)410 and 428 are long stroke engines (3.98)390 and 427 are short stroke (3.78)
Any heads on the engine.???

Just noticed where you are from, did you by any chance have your car over on the Island last summer for any of the car shows? How about posting a picture of your car or emailing me one?
