What do all of you think of the Edelbrock performer cylinder heads? I am thinking of going with their matched package of heads, cam, intake & carb. Opinions good or bad please so I can make an informed decision. Or is there a better setup? The 65 will be a 302 w/5 speed with 3.50 rear gears, & the 69 will be a 302 w/AOD 4 speed auto with 3.50 rear gears. Both will be used for cruise nights & occasional weekend drives.------------------ Mike & Robin Grentus, Owners/Innkeepers A Wolfpack Bed & Breakfast 6700 Rts-5&20 Bloomfield, NY 14469 (585)657-4863 65 Mustang Fastback 69 Mustang Coupe 99 Explorer Sport 00 Ranger XLT Extd Cab 4X4 M&M #- 890 MCA #- 4549 See us at www.wolfpack-bnb.com

Heads yes, RPM or air gap intake is better as standard performer dies about 5500 RPM. Pass on the carb and cam from Edelbrock. You know my cam pick. Nice 4150 Holley Avenger or DP.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS! I believe he likes the 270S (which is a small solid) for most street applications. It's a good cam that will peak out about 5800 rpm, and pull hard to around 6200. ------------------ Mike Burch 66 mustang real street 302 4-speed 289 heads 10.63 @ 129.3 http://www.geocities.com/carbedstangs/cmml_mburch.html http://www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/healey/367 http://www.mustangworks.com/cgi-bin/moi-display.cgi?220
