The Holley pumps are very dependable, but loud. If you use one, make sure to rubber mount it, and use some type of flex hose in/out of it to help isolate the vibration and noise. The biggest problem with the MSD boxs, are heat and not removing them while doing elect welding on the car. If they are kept cool, and not in car while welding, they last a long time. Neat car you have. I am sure it turns the heads. ------------------ 1993 Tbird 393 stroker, 3500 RPM converter http://members.tccoa.com/393bird/

What are you thinking about this product http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=edl-1715&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&searchinresults=false&N=0&target=egnsearch.asp or can you suggest me a good mechanical fuel pump (8 psi). First i was using Holley blue and black electric fuel pump but they didn't work properly .Now i'm using http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=edl-1715&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&searchinresults=false&N=0&target=egnsearch.asp when it is cold fuel pressure about 11psi but when it gets warm the fuel pressure drop to 4-3-2 psi (no regulator)

Yep. I had a lot of problems with them and concluded that for me, they were crap. I bet bought 8 of them stupid things, and none of them worked longer than 3 or 4 months. We changed our fuel routing, wiring, everything we could think of, and they still would stop working or start leaking. I wont use one of them now if someone gave it to me.

Anybody know if it is the same as the old red or blue pump? I?ve used both of those and had problems with the magnets coming loose. They say to not mount it near heat and I had it mounted on the axle hump panel between the rear seat and the gas tank. I switched to a Carter electric pump and haven?t had a problem since other than forgetting to turn up the adjustable fuel regulator.------------------ Ed S. 68 S-code FB GT 4spd(now C6)/3.25 PS PDB 68 J-code(now 289) Cp Sprint"B" C4/3L00-9" PDB PS AC Bla-Bla-Bla 99 F150 XLT Ext/cab, 4X4, 5.4L, 3L55
