I am having a set of custom front coil overs made for my 93 Bird. Car now weighs 3175 lbs. The company making them is using the new QA1 "R" 90/10 adjustable as a starting point, and modifying them for my Bird. My question is how to set them and the springs up best for maximum weight transfer? He is sending them with a set of 150 12 inch springs just for me to see what I want to try. I know the ideal springs and settings for transfer is having the springs nearly fully compressed so they are storing the max energy, but what is the ideal compression height of the shock while sitting with the springs compressed like this? Should I set the ride height for near bottomed out also to allow max extension? The car has a longer wheel base than a Mustang, and I need max weight transfer. I know I will have to tweak them to see what gives me the best 60 ft times, but need a good starting point.------------------ 1993 Tbird 393 stroker, 3500 RPM converter http://members.tccoa.com/393bird/

Talk to Dave Goldie at QA-1. Thanks Alex. I have gotten use to talking to Burger Flippers when calling most places, and have almost given up on trying. The old tech support as we knew it years ago, has all but gone. Ill call him next week.Bruce ------------------ 1993 Tbird 393 stroker, 3500 RPM converter http://members.tccoa.com/393bird/

I got my Custom QA1s installed, and only need to fine tune them. Car lost 25 lbs with them.
