Hi guys-I'm interesting in making a custom upper for a GT40 lower manifold. I wanna go EFI with my Maverick but I don't see a reason to have the limitations of the factory TB placement because I'm starting from scratch. Also I don't think I'm going to use the factory sensors. The GT40 is appealing because it has round port inlets. Seems easy to machine a plate for a sheetmetal upper. I plan on buying a GT40 spacer to get dimensions, but first I'd like to know how much underhood room I'd have. Can someone measure the height of the lower manifold from a reference source that I could get from my carb manifold? Also I'm interested in the distance from the thermostat housing flange to the first bolt hole on the upper flange (front-rear).
