Good lap, but unfortunatly not fast enough to get the record.

M&M Members Joe Strunk SS/MA 64 Comet and Bill Harris D/SA 71 Mustang are also in attendance.

My poor old badly abused C4 gave up the ghost this weekend. I lost my forward clutch after my burnout in round one on Sunday. I was able to get the car staged, hoping the other guy would red-light, but it would not pull against the converter and after that all I had was reverse. I knew that it was having problems as it was sliding into first from neutral instead of it's usual thump, but it held up OK on Friday and Saturday, taking me to my best ever 10.737 on the first Saturday pass, 6 hundreths quicker than the record I set at Montgomery in November.

Going to have to fix the trans quickly as the IHRA Div 9 race at Rockingham is coming up in two weeks.

Congrats on running quicker than your record ,but I hate that you had the tranny problems.. Get it fix, and knock 'em dead at Rockingham. Maybe we will see you in April... Have a great racing season
