Holley 600 on it now is vac sec with #65 in the front and 8.5 power valve seems to be a little rich though. Any suggestions I have a Eldelbrock performer nitrous setup going on it also. 100hp shot max. Thanx

Tom I think the 600 seemed rich because of the 8.5pv. Try using a 4.5 or even a 6.5 in the new carb, also I'd start out with 66-72 jets.

That was a quick response! You have to much Internet time on your hands. :

I know
When it's slow at work there nothing else. I could take a nap but I'm a real deep sleeper. I'd wake and everything would be gone.

Thats my best guess on your new carb, let me know how it works out.
I'm still trying to work the bugs out of my 700dp. I do love instant kick of the secondarys.

Today is my day off,but they needed me to come in for some reason ???
Sometimes I think it's just because he can.

Nitous ? You really want to see those 12 second slips.
The stuff would be a kick. I'm just not brave enough. I also know I wouldn't ever stop. 100hp would fun for the a few runs, then how about 150hp etc etc.

12's I should be high 12'a with the new carb and roller rockers alone. I just put them on. I'm looking for high 11s at 115 or so. I am scheduling a dyno tune session at a shop in Pottstown Pa mainly for dialing in the carb and the timing. I have 1 more major purchase MSD Digital 6 plus for REV limit and timing retard The shop belongs to a friend of my bodyman's. He advertises in the back of MM&FF mag (Performance Specialties) I believe is the name. Does alot of late model (FOX) Mustangs.

Tom I was talking about all motor in the 12's.
I just worded it wrong, you should have known that by now.
Let me how the tune goes, and what jets & PV work the best.

P.S. I hope your son has learned to slow down now.
