Where will that artical be printed. Mucsle Mustang? That mag usually covers late model stuff. I was shocked to see your car in it. There was even a pic of Gene McBean's '69, Jim Conte's '69, Mike Cates's Comet and Ray Paquet's Thunderbolt mixed in with the late model stuff. ------------------ Ben Grabber Green '70 Mach I 351C 4V Robbin Egg Blue '79 Fairmont 408C 4V, best time to date is 10.50 best MPH 127

Evan Smith is a decent guy, but he generally does pics and stories about his pals and east coast racers. MM had a 1 inch by 2 inch photo in the 1999 MM&FF Indy issue and we were the top qualified FoMoCo in Superstock. #20 overall out of over 160 cars. Tony was one of the few Fox cars and the only Capri entered and did not even get a mention. We were at several Indy's since and have not been mentioned again. I really hope that they put the Johnson's car in as it is a very worthy piece. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS! Most mags are a joke, but I do appreciate some of Even Smith's stories. He IS a racer, unlike most of the pencil pushing idiots. Yeah, sure he has to stroke the sponsors. That's part of his job I suppose. I mostly enjoyed the fact that he did a lot of coverage on his "project stocker". Over a few years he covered a lot of the things he did to build and race the stock eliminator 5.0L mustang, now running as a cobra mustang. I've never seen any other mag cover a stocker like that. He even raced a supercharged Lightening in stock at Englishtown I believe. That truck got a lot of coverage too. ------------------ Ben Grabber Green '70 Mach I 351C 4V Robbin Egg Blue '79 Fairmont 408C 4V, 10.50 127 MPH
