Has anyone ever seen a big gain from running a 1050 or 1150 on a cleveland?

I've never tried it. All I can tell you is my 750 Holley has run better than any other carb I've tried including 750 Demon an 850 Demon and modified 850 Holley. Go figure. ------------------ Ben Grabber Green '70 Mach I 351C 4V Robbin Egg Blue '79 Fairmont 408C 4V, best time to date is 10.50 best MPH 127

I've seen guys try that and slow down.Unless the motor is really big, or spins a lot of rpm (like 8500 plus), a 950HP is all most of them really need. Once we get my car on the dyno with the new motor, we may try a 1050 on it to see if it makes more power than my 950. But remember, my new motor is 402", 15-1 compression, has a BIG solid roller, and epoxied heads that flow a ton of air.
