I want to find an alternator out of the junkyard or something that fits right into my 70 mustang and puts out 100 amps or so. What should I look for? I asked them for a 3g one or whatever and they looked at me like huh? SO what cars should I look at? Also how do I wire one in?

94-95 Mustang w/5.0 and mid 90's F150 300-6 come to mind right away. As for wiring, do a google search for Wiring 3G alternator.
Thats how I found the diagrams to do mine, but you can come out and look at my wiring too.
