Anyone know where I can find a rebuild kit for an 8" traction lock unit? Need the steels and friction discs and the 4 little springs. The unit I have is complete but I want to rebuild it before I install it.

Those on ebay are for equa lock (5 tab) and not the traction lock (4 tab). Of course, I may need to check mine again to make sure... Maer Racing has had the right one's before on ebay but they aren't offering them right now for some reason. Summit only has goods for 8.8 and 9 inch traction units. Thanks anyway! No problem. I didn't know there was a difference until I saw that same auction yesterday.

Hey Scoop! Guess what? Just to make sure, I went and checked mine again and it is indeed the 5 tab version. Sure am glad I didn't order the kit that I saw the first time....
