Need to choose some rings for my 557 freshen up. Top choice currently is Speed Pro plasma moly.

part #R10133 is listed for a 4.440 bore (even though it's listed as being for a BBC) I need std tension 4.440" bore 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 rings. It's on alcohol if it matters.

I've been told the SpeedPro Hellfire rings are tough on bore wear so I think I'll stay away from them. Same reason on gapless rings. (had a set of Total Seal gapless in a stroker sbf)

Any others I should look at? Brand and part #

Thanks,
David Cole

PC has some good stuff also.
Might be more in line with what you are doing and want.
Long life, good seal without the expense of a custom set.
I can put you in tough with an engineer friend/racer that I have there.
