Need to choose some rings for my 557 freshen up. Top choice currently is Speed Pro plasma moly.part #R10133 is listed for a 4.440 bore (even though it's listed as being for a BBC) I need std tension 4.440" bore 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 rings. It's on alcohol if it matters. I've been told the SpeedPro Hellfire rings are tough on bore wear so I think I'll stay away from them. Same reason on gapless rings. (had a set of Total Seal gapless in a stroker sbf) Any others I should look at? Brand and part # Thanks, David Cole ------------------ 557 BBF Powered, alcohol injected rear engine dragster. 4.90 @ 143 1/8 mile. 1.09 60'. I've got to be crazy to drive this thing.

PC has some good stuff also. Might be more in line with what you are doing and want. Long life, good seal without the expense of a custom set. I can put you in tough with an engineer friend/racer that I have there.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS!
