Hello to the all great and knowing people of M&M. Well I have another qestion for you guys. I have a 351w bored .30 over 10:1 comp, 750 cfm edel carb, perfomer rpm intake, perfomer rpm cam, hypertectic pistons, stock heads, MSD set up, and stock everything else. My tranny has a Tci Breakaway converter. My engine is newly rebuilt maybe has 300 miles on it. It is used for street driving, but i would like to sometimes be able to get on it from time to time. Would what i have be good enough or should I add more?

If you would like to add about 15 to 20 HP trade the peanut carb in for a Holley. Do you have headers?------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! I was going to buy Hooker full lenght headers. What type of Holley carb do you sugg? My heads are fine right, they were rebuilt to. I want something fast but reliable. Something that could smoke tires, and be faster than average on the street.

After you get some headers, invest in a 750 DP Holley and sell your JCP carb to a show car person.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,& '04 First SS/MA in the TENS! I like my Edelbrock because I can leave it alone! I intend to forget how to adjust drum brakes and carbs. If you're looking to super tune your car buy one of them exhaust sensors so your copilots can tell you if the car is running rich or lean at what RPM. If I have the money next time I'm going to experiment with a fuel injection swap.
